The first morning

Woke up a bit sore this morning...not as bad as could be expected though. My right elbow is ginger, I really need to figure out what is going on with that. My weight this morning is 82.8kg. Down a bit, but could have been expected, I did not eat as much as I would have liked yesterday, woke up late, skipped a meal waiting for my friend to come over. Tonight will be Plyometrics, or jump training, it is a high calorie burner for sure. I am not worried about completing the DVD, but it will be interesting to see if I can eat enough calories today to keep my weight up tomorrow. Here is a link to the website I use to track my weight. Please let me know if it works.

You should be able to see what I am eating every day. I will be completely honest on there.

In the thick of things

O.K....here's a live post from the middle of my first workout back. Today's main workout is chest and back...I am really pleasantly surprised at how well my form held up for having taking roughly two months off. Most of my numbers were above my beginning numbers for last time. And looking in the mirrors during the workouts, I felt really happy about how things are looking already. That's the good news.
On the downside, my chronic 'tennis' elbow, my right one, was tweaking a bit on a few pushups, and it is still tight afterwards, especially if I bring my fist all the way up and fully close the elbow joint. Definitely something to keep my mind and eyes on. Also, I have got 7:33 left in the AbRipperX video and holy shit!!! I knew this was why I was so hesitant to restart. Good god!!! At least I am getting through it with limited pauses, but my form is way down from where I was the last time, and my hunger to race against them and throw in extra sit-ups and more difficult moves is completely gone at this point. I am in sheer survival mode trying to keep up and get 25 done on each of the 11 moves. I finished the most difficult ones...but I still have Mason Twists left. I doubt I will be doing the 60+ I was before...just hoping I can reach 50.
All in all, better than I thought, but I was not fooling myself, this is hard.

(A friend is coming over for dinner...I will try to convince her to take some 'nude' shots to post...I would like to have a full set of poses to compare as this gets going. Taking photos by myself is possible, but limiting on the poses, zooming, and quality of shots...c'mon Puppy, earn your keep girl, work the zoom toggle...)

The Starting Line

Alright..no more time messing around..let's start this thing. I just weighed in at a fair 83.2kg...not all the way back..but not bad. I've run the gamut of emotions this week thinking about all the hard work, all the exciting benchmarks, the final product if I manage to complete two full rounds by next June. Here is a link to the current goal I have in mind:

(EXPERIMENT) VIDEO

Just trying to post some video I shot with my webcam the last time...was in the middle of one of my last workouts, near day 60. Just want to see how it works on here...if well, I can use more to show you guys some of the moves used during the program. Wish me luck...

Comparisons

I think the back muscles are really impressive. Probably all of the pull-ups you have to do.

Comparisons

Here are a few Day 0-30-60 comparisons.

T-Minus 7 Days...

Ok..I think I am ready to get underway (again) next Saturday night or probably Sunday for sure. I might shave and work those two things parallel: No shaving and working out every day for 13 weeks. I will try my damndest to take daily, perhaps pre-post-workout photos in order to really be able to compare accurately. My weight is inching upwards again lately, it dipped recently under 80kg., down from the high of approx. 87kg. I am hovering between 81-82kg right now depending on time of day, pre-post-meal, or day of the week (I'm usually heavier on the weekends when I can actually sit down for 5 minutes and eat a meal.) So a big challenge might be to work on getting enough HEALTHY calories into my body in order to get back up to those 'towering' weights from before. The nice thing is, looks like I'll have a half-way head start this time...and with my public school classes going on to the morning schedule for winter break, the 3 sausage egg-mcmuffins for a month should help me get back up there all the faster...

Any ideas for high-protein, short-prep meals? Once I get going, I will post, with photos and, err, recipes, my quick fixes. Please feel free to add, comment, constructively criticize, anything my meal choices. I really need everyone's help. Really.

Thanks!
